About the practice

BanfieldWood is a design and building consultancy practice founded by an architect and an engineer, and focuses on bespoke interior-led spaces. We create personal, buildable spaces - from one-off homes to hospitality fit-outs and complex developments on tricky sites. Our projects span architecture, engineering, and fabrication, often combining design with hands-on making or technical delivery. We’re curious about how things come together - the detail behind a junction, the atmosphere of a room, the rhythm of a space shaped with care.
