About the practice

STUDIOGÖTZ is an RIBA Chartered Practice specialising in residential architecture, with a particular focus on extensions, remodelling, and carefully crafted contemporary homes. The practice combines analytical rigour with creative exploration to produce architecture that is both conceptually clear and experientially rich. Each project begins with a close reading of the existing building and its context, identifying latent qualities that can be reinterpreted and extended rather than replaced. Central to the studio’s approach is a collaborative and highly personal design process. STUDIOGÖTZ works closely with clients to understand not only functional requirements, but also how spaces are experienced, inhabited, and connected to landscape. This dialogue informs designs that are spatially inventive, materially expressive, and tailored to the specific character of each site. The work is characterised by clarity of form, strong geometric ideas, and a careful alignment of structure, material, and light.
