About the practice

Bolans Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice working across architecture, urban design, masterplanning and technical delivery in the UK and internationally. Our work ranges from carefully crafted homes and complex retrofit projects to housing, community, sport and strategic urban development. We are particularly experienced in unlocking challenging sites, combining strong architectural ideas with planning strategy, technical rigour and a detailed understanding of how buildings are delivered. Whether working from conception through to completion or taking on the executive architect role at later design stages, we bring the same attention to context, materiality, construction and long-term value. Our approach is collaborative, practical and design-led, creating distinctive places and buildings that respond intelligently to the people who use them and the environments in which they sit.
