Black Edge House is a new-build self-build home on a constrained triangular site in Brockley, London. Bolans Architects provided architectural services from planning through technical design and construction, including detailed coordination and Party Wall matters. The design responds closely to the unusual site geometry, creating carefully planned contemporary living spaces within a compact footprint. Distinctive black brickwork, a green sedum roof and a restrained material palette give the house a strong identity while supporting its environmental performance and relationship with the surrounding residential context.
