About the practice

Creative design solutions; extensive experience working with existing buildings; innovative new-build proposals on complex sites: these are our conventional architectural skills. In addition, as qualified project managers we deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality. We generally provide a full traditional architect's service, taking responsibility for coordination and management of the whole project, particularly on smaller projects under £2m total project cost. Above all, we look after the interests of our clients - typically residential clients, churches and charities. Other services we provide include acting as Expert Witness in relation to construction disputes or disputes between architects and their clients; we have acted in this regard for both clients, architects and contractors. We have extensive experience of diagnosing building defects, and proposing cost-effective solutions. We have extensive knowledge of legal and contractual matters in the construction industry, which enables us to offer our clients best advice when managing all the projects we take on. We are qualified and accredited Principal Designers, which means that we integrate the health and safety aspects of projects into the design from the outset. We are also accredited conservation architects (AABC accreditation) with wide experience of works to listed historic buildings and in conservation areas.
