All Saints' Church Sanderstead is a fine Grade I-listed medieval building, dating from the 12th century. The existing entry involved stepping down two awkward steps into the early 20th century porch. In order to provide level access, we re-designed the landscaping, lowering the levels and providing a new glazed oak door to the porch. The project involved careful liaison with archaeologists in order to allow the levels to be reduced.
