About the practice

Established in 2012, Cox Architects seeks to provide creative and practical solutions to architecture, landscape and interior design briefs, from the smallest residential remodel to large new-build houses. Our work has been published in national and international print media and has received commendation in international competition. Our Lime House project was a finalist in the Architect's Journal Retrofit awards 2021 and our House on the Heath scheme featured on the front cover of Grand Designs Magazine in 2024 and was longlisted in the House Extension of the Year award 2024 by Archello. Steve Cox qualified as an architect in 1997. He is a member of the RIBA and his firm holds the additional RIBA accreditation of Chartered Practice - demostrating compliance with the RIBA's world-leading standards covering matters such as quality assurance, customer service and insurance. The firm is also an approved RIBA Schools Ambassador and is a registered work experience provider, helping support school children and young adults in the local community.
