A very recently completed project for RIBA referral clients. Completed project images to follow. Removing the rear wall of the house and combining the front and back living rooms allowed us to create a single, generous open-plan space. An off-set Douglas Fir–framed extension, centred around a large circular skylight, brings daylight deep into the plan and strengthens the connection to the much-loved rear garden Careful cost planning shaped several design decisions, ensuring the project remained on budget while still creating opportunities for an a-typical and characterful rear extension
