About the practice

Charlie Luxton Design offers a thoughtful and sustainable approach to architecture, balancing beauty, function and respect for our shared environment. We see the success of projects coming from meaningful, positive collaboration between client, designer and contractor. Establishing and nurturing these working relationships is central to our process.  Our aim is to create beautiful, energy-efficient buildings that fit location and brief. Each client and site is different, and so are our buildings which is why we have an ‘approach’ rather than a style. Context, local materials and vernacular architecture are key considerations for respectful design which builds on a sense of place.
