About the practice

Blair Gratton Architects Ltd., is a local, established Chartered Architects practice based at our offices at 24 The Strand in Derby and working throughout Derbyshire, the adjacent Counties and beyond. Simon Gratton is a RIBA Registered Conservation Architect. We are a small and friendly team of Architects, Technicians and Architectural Assistants, who take pride in offering a friendly and honest approach, maintaining close relationships with our clients and industry colleagues. We offer the full scope of services from Feasibility, Design through to the Administration of Building Contracts and Site Operations. Our practice lineage dates back to 1952 making us one of the oldest architecture practices in Derby. All of our clients meet with a Chartered Architect on day one who becomes and remains their point of contact for the life of their project, regardless of its nature, size or complexity. We have a portfolio of conservation, church, conversion, domestic, surgery and pharmacy work. Key areas are: Health Care, Domestic property work, both new and extensions and refurbishments; Conservation projects; listed building work including maintenance and repair; Ecclesiastical projects; Education and Nursing Homes.
