The house which our clients acquired had been unaltered since the ’80’s. There remains an internal swimming pool and at that time, a full house width uPVC conservatory to the rear. The house had been poorly converted in the past requiring extensive redevelopment and modernisation. The rear conservatory was demolished to make space for a single storey extension creating a kitchen and dining area with bi-folds opening into the pool and on the opposite wall, the garden. The internal areas have been stripped bare and radically altered to bring daylight into the interiors and maximise views to the central pool space. Ground floors were broken out so that underfloor heating could be incorporated. First floors were removed and re-built, also with underfloor heating. The hall is to feature a bespoke staircase to our design whilst the kitchen features a spiral staircase to access the first floor games and media rooms and balcony. Design by us and managed through all site works, the house is now a stunning dwelling.
