About the practice

We specialise in heritage conservation work allied to contemporary, contextual design across the South West. Every job is informed by research, leading to well crafted architecture and built with a thorough knowledge of construction techniques, be they traditional or modern. We work throughout Devon & Cornwall focussing upon projects in sensitive locations - Mostly in conservation areas, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks, coastal preservation zones and designated AONB environments. Experienced with listed buildings often including grant funded developments. We promote the use of progressive, sustainable technologies and materials - exhibited in our award winning portfolio. Ecology and landscape play integral roles in our holistic approach to design, creating healthy buildings and environments.
