The Moor Farm project involved the restoration of a GII listed, historic farmstead on the southern fringe of Dartmoor National Park / AONB. A group of barns were converted from a derelict state to create new dwelling and workspace units for the Blachford Estate. The main farmhouse was carefully conserved using traditional construction materials and methods. The whole site was linked through careful landscape works designed using salvaged granite and stone. The original farm leat and stream were reinstated running down through the farmhouse and barn gardens. Significant energy, thermal and daylight improvements made to all buildings to enhance their environmental performance.
