The conversion of Acre Place into a family home and architect's own studio was undertaken on a tight budget, sourcing many components from reclamation and architectural salvage yards. The Georgian, three storey terrace house has been completely overhauled and extended with notable thermal and environmental improvements. Regional materials - Cornish lime, Delabole slate and Douglas Fir timber have been used with traditional construction techniques.
