About the practice

AAB architects is a chartered practice led by practice principal Alice Brown, an accredited Conservation Architect. Our projects range widely in scale, from public parks through to individual homes, but all share a sensitive response to context and need. We aspire to provide affordable, durable and low carbon buildings, based on prioritising repair, maintenance and retrofit. We are focused on creating better places and buildings for our communities, engaging with real issues that have positive social, economic and cultural value. Our interest and continual research into the evolution of buildings and places feeds into an on-going pool of knowledge that actively contributes to our architectural design and practice. We enjoy positive working relationships with clients, consultants and contractors, in order to achieve the best quality for all budgets. We provide full architectural services from inception through to contract administration and project management.
