About the practice

Woodford Architecture and Interiors is an award-winning practice, founded in 2010 by Gavin and Sarah Woodford, to create timeless architecture and interiors. From their studios in Ashburton in Devon, together with their team of architects, technologists and interior designers, they focus on projects in Cornwall, Devon and the Southwest. Their work demonstrates honed architectural clarity and sensitivity, a deep understanding of materials and craftsmanship. They create homes that are designed with precision, character and soul. They specialise in residential projects, from new build houses to the sensitive restoration, renovation, and reimagining of heritage homes. Wellbeing sits at the heart of their design philosophy, and their projects integrate elements such as saunas, pools, sensory gardens and landscape design to create environments that nurture both body and mind.
