Contact PracticeRCKa is a London-based architectural practice working for a range of public and private clients on residential, community, education and commercial buildings across the UK. The practice has won numerous accolades for its work including a 2014 RIBA National Award and Housing Design Awards in both 2011 and 2018. In 2014 it was named RIBA London's Emerging Practice of the Year and has been a finalist for Young Architect of the Year on two occasions. RCKa was founded in 2008 and has delivered a range of award-winning public and private buildings across the UK. At the core of all our work is an interest in how the buildings we design can promote community cohesion, encourage social interaction and support adoption by those who live in, work in and use them. We work extensively with local communities to ensure that the schemes we design balance the needs of clients with the desires and concerns of the people who will be affected by them. We have no “house style”; every project is unique, responding to the needs of the community and the wider physical, social and environmental context. What is common to every scheme is a passion for how our buildings can remain relevant to users, stakeholders and beneficiaries through designing for flexibility and longevity.
