About the practice

JTP is an award-winning placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners, delivering successful projects across the UK and internationally for both public and private sector clients. Our work is rooted in a commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and social value, underpinned by a studio culture that prioritises diversity, inclusion, and the wellbeing of our people. Our approach of ‘Collaborative Placemaking’, brings together a process of understanding, engaging, and creating to shape places that are distinctive, resilient, and community led. Through meaningful engagement, we empower stakeholders and build shared ownership, using participatory techniques refined over more than two decades. This collective visioning informs the creation of thoughtful, deliverable design solutions. By fostering collaboration at every stage, we enable inclusive dialogue, break down barriers, and build consensus, ultimately delivering places that inspire community spirit and stand the test of time.
