In 2016, Gilling Dod Architects became the 5th UK BIM level 2 accredited RIBA Practice and the 1st in the Northwest. Over the last 45 years, we have designed & delivered accomplished Health facilities, becoming one of the Country’s leading award-winning Healthcare Architectural Practices. We have a clear understanding of issues and a real sense the impact of good design has on wellbeing, treatment & recovery. In the last 7 years, we have delivered over £900m of healthcare projects. We have amassed a considerable resource of knowledge & experience, not only in terms of technical application and design but also in understanding of the issues involved in delivering services in challenging and diverse environments. Our Architects and Interior Designers are passionate and dedicated in producing high quality, innovative & sustainable buildings with exceptional design. This is due to collaborative engagement with clients/ clinician/services users to create the best experience possible, ensuring our designs have a positive impact on patient experience and the delivery/management of modern healthcare services. Projects cover the full spectrum of Healthcare including Primary, Acute, Mental Health, Care Homes & Extra Care to Dementia & Disability, for both Public & Private providers nationwide. We have strong links in the Health Community and have assisted in the formulation of the latest Mental Health best practice. As members of DIMHN we promote global best practice & innovation.
