About the practice

‘Facture’ is how ‘the manner in which something is made shows itself in the final piece’. It is an idea which was explored in the Bauhaus where art, craft and architecture were intimately related and it is an idea which underpins our approach to design. We believe that the making is equally as important as the designing. We are a relatively young practice who bring a fresh ideas to our work complemented with experience from our previous work at notable practices - we offer the skill and experience to get the job done whilst bringing a passion for developing our practice with each new commission. Our work includes projects at all scales, from housing, churches, community and education buildings to furniture design, arts installations and bespoke homes for private residential clients.
