About the practice

ellisclare is a RIBA Chartered Architecture practice founded in 2015 by Nic and Bryony Williams. We believe well designed homes can complement and enhance people's way of life. Our aim is to make the spaces we use everyday a more enjoyable place to be, and better suited to modern life. As a team of two, we offer a very personal service. We understand the importance of analysing the requirements of each individual project, and the need to tailor every brief to respond to Clients’ specific requirements, the context and surroundings of the site. We offer a full architectural service and guide Clients through the full creative and technical process - from the Initial Survey, through Concept Design, Planning, Building Control, Tender and Construction. We share an enthusiasm for good quality natural materials, and using them to create elegant and sustainable spaces. We work on a range of residential projects of all scales - from internal refurbishments and reconfigurations to extensions throughout Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire and London.
