ellisclare carried out a full refurbishment of a charming Cottage surrounded by acres of farmland in Buckinghamshire. Original features have been refurbished, and a refined palette of elegant materials and tones have been chosen to provide a backdrop to the natural surroundings. This includes characterful locally crafted oak panelled doors, reminiscent of the oak trees that line the lane to the Cottage. Simple alterations to the flow of the internal layout have completely transformed the space and updated it to suit modern living, without straying far from the roots of the Cottage. The works included structural alterations, fitout, electrical works, plastering, new kitchen and joinery.
