About the practice

With a Head Office in London and seven branches across the country, Donald Insall Associates has over fifty years experience in the conservation, repair and adaptation of Britain's historic buildings and towns, as well as in the design of new buildings in sensitive sites. Work is undertaken throughout the United Kingdom, in Europe and beyond. Responding sensitively to the needs of clients, including individual owners, private estates, trusts, universities and schools, churches, museums, developers, local authorities and central government, the talent and resources of the Practice provide a comprehensive range of architectural and conservation skills within a flexible internal organization using CAD and the technological standards of the industry. Many of its members are accredited in building conservation and are on the RIBA Conservation Register. The Practice is certified for Quality and Environmental Management and sets store on providing sustainable solutions. The quality of the Practice's work has been recognized by over 170 architectural design, building and craftsmanship awards.
