Our clients are our partners, and together we create architecture that is ambitious, considered and responsive to the particular opportunities of each site. Our work ranges from contemporary residential and commercial projects to significant historic and diplomatic buildings, including ongoing embassy work involving complex listed-building, heritage, fire, structural and building-services considerations. We are increasingly appointed to lead wider consultant consortiums and multidisciplinary teams, coordinating more than 30 professionals across architecture, planning, heritage, structures, building services, fire, cost, specialist design and delivery disciplines. This allows us to retain a clear architectural direction while managing the broader technical and statutory requirements of complex projects. We work extensively with sensitive and constrained sites, including Grade I, Grade II and Grade II* listed buildings, Green Belt land and properties where the planning history or existing fabric requires a particularly rigorous approach. We are proud of a very strong planning record and have secured permissions for listed buildings, replacement dwellings and Green Belt projects, including a number of approvals at the first attempt, without reducing the architectural ambition of the scheme. Our wider portfolio includes substantial private houses, new-build and replacement dwellings, diplomatic and cultural projects, hospitality, commercial buildings and complex refurbishments. Our clients range from private individuals and developers to PLCs, restaurants and public or institutional bodies. The practice is based in Old Brewery House on New Street in the heart of Henley-on-Thames and in central London. We welcome clients to visit the studio and discuss what might be possible for their site.
