About the practice

seven architecture was formed in May 2006 by the current practice Directors and has grown steadily over the last 14 years to a complement of 32 across four studios in Harrogate, Manchester, London and North Wales. The practice is a place where people care about creating good buildings; a place where creativity and intelligence is valued and invested in wisely and one which clients engage with as a result of the outstanding, collaborative and personal service they receive. We focus on creating exceptional environments for end users, by listening to and understanding briefs and providing innovative design solutions. • Our Vision is to deliver design excellence which improves lives, inspires learning and enriches our heritage. • Our Mission is to design well-crafted buildings of social, economic and environmental value for every client through design expertise, creative collaboration and rigorous review. • Our Values are to be authentic, be effective, be happy, communicate well and create value Particular areas of expertise have been developed in managing complex, multi-stakeholder clients; creating flexible design solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of society; creating value from Listed Buildings and the integration of a sustainable design approach. Investment in specialist skills such as Conservation, BIM and Passivhaus qualifications provide in-house expertise to integrate contextual, technical and environmental principles into responsive and responsible design solutions.
