About the practice

Designscape Architects design environmentally conscious, well-crafted buildings for residential and commercial clients across a range of sectors including private homes, housing, education, public realm, arts and industry. Using both traditional and innovative building materials to create places where people want to live, work and learn, we believe every project is unique, whatever its scale. We have particular expertise working with existing structures and buildings in sensitive environments. Being based in the World Heritage City of Bath, our work with historic homes and listed buildings is extensive but does not define us. From a multi-million pound art studio for Damien Hirst and beautifully designed workplaces that enhance employee wellbeing, to large residential alterations in both rural and urban settings, our strength is in finding the best architectural solution for every one of our clients to help them meet their ambitions both creatively and financially.
