Located in the heart of the Langridge valley, Court Farm comprises a Grade II* listed mediaeval manor house and former threshing barn. After close discussions with the local conservation officer, proposals have been prepared for the repair and refurbishment of both historic buildings. Works to the C15th house include removing inappropriate alterations and unblocking original doorways and openings to restore the historic character. The barn is to be converted to provide ancillary home office accommodation for the house by inserting lightweight timber structures to the west end of the structure, leaving the majority of the original space uninterrupted. A new centralised wood-burning boiler will supply heating and hot water to both buildings.
