About the practice

Colledge Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice based in the Cotswolds, specializing in residential, commercial, and heritage projects. The practice is led by Director Matthew Colledge, a RIBA Accredited Conservation Architect with over 25 years of industry expertise and 16 years of post-qualification experience. Matthew graduated with first-class honours in Manchester and began his career at the award-winning Stephenson Bell Architects. He later moved to London, where he became an Associate at Squire and Partners Architects, gaining valuable experience on large-scale residential and commercial schemes. In 2017, Matthew relocated to the Cotswolds with his family to establish an office for a practice in Chipping Campden. During this time, he led numerous high-end residential projects, often involving listed properties, with a strong emphasis on quality and detail. In 2023, Matthew founded Colledge Architects. As a RIBA Accredited Conservation Architect, Matthew has completed specialized training in heritage conservation and demonstrated extensive experience working with listed and historic buildings. He is deeply committed to preserving and enhancing architectural heritage. Colledge Architects prides itself on extensive expertise and a seamless delivery process, managing projects from inception to completion. The practice is dedicated to creating contextually appropriate, bespoke design solutions tailored to each project and client.
