About the practice

Colledge Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice based in the Cotswolds, specializing in residential, commercial, and heritage projects. The practice is led by Director Matthew Colledge, who has 16 years of post-qualification experience and over 25 years of industry expertise. Matthew graduated with first-class honors in Manchester and began his career at the award-winning practice Stephenson Bell Architects. He then moved to London, where he advanced to Associate level at Squire and Partners Architects. During this time, he gained valuable experience working on large-scale residential and commercial projects. In 2017, Matthew relocated to the Cotswolds with his family to help establish and expand a local office for Gluckman Smith (now Woldon) Architects. During his time there, he managed several high-end residential projects, often involving listed properties, with a focus on quality and detail. In 2023, Matthew founded Colledge Architects, bringing his extensive expertise and vision to life. A RIBA Conservation registrant, Matthew has completed numerous specialized training courses in heritage conservation, demonstrating his commitment to preserving and enhancing historic properties. Colledge Architects takes pride in its extensive knowledge and years of experience, delivering projects seamlessly from inception to completion.
