ZMA have recently worked on a number of Masterplanning Schemes. Each plan was the result of a detailed feasibility study, focusing on site constraints including sloping sites, potential flood zones, neighbouring Country Wildlife Site areas, and key views. The Bridgewater masterplan, a mixed-use site located in Somerset, proposes a tiered and staggered terraced housing scheme that includes detached houses, higher density apartments blocks, a Neighbourhood Centre, and a commercial and retail block. Meadow Park and Broadmeadow in Devon, sites generally constrained by the landform and neighbouring Country Wildlife Site areas, resulted in the design of a new house type.
