The Mini Holland cycling programme seeks to radically improve Waltham Forest’s cycling infrastructure and support a step change in the numbers of local people choosing to cycle. What if: projects were commissioned as consultant architects for this project and developed design proposals and creative interventions for improvements to the public and green spaces alongside the Mini Holland routes. The team worked in collaboration with Waltham Forest’s transport engineers on the layout and detailing of the cycle lanes, the pedestrian areas, shared space, cycle street, new public spaces and greening proposals.
