About the practice

Waugh Thistleton is an award winning research centred practice dedicated to designing buildings and places of the highest architectural quality that acknowledge their impact on the environment. We believe passionately that sustainability and world class design solutions are one and the same thing. The quality of our buildings and our commitment to the use of offsite construction has earned us an international reputation in environmentally sensitive architecture and design. After more than twenty years in practice, we have delivered a diverse range of building types, including housing, offices, mixed-use residential, cultural and leisure. Notable projects include the world's largest cross laminated timber apartment block, an assembly plant for a world famous furniture brand, and a 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize nominated cemetery in London's greenbelt.
