Becket's Chapel is a grade I listed building also in the Heritage at Risk Registers. TAS has acted as the lead consultant to a multi-disciplinary team to undertake a fabric inspection and condition report, in record time within the constricted timeframe given by the Trust. The report has been submitted in support of an application to Historic England for urgent repair works and to the Architectural Heritage Fund. A decision is expected before the end of the year. The Architect Studio will continue leading the consulting team and working with the Trust to realise their plan of opening the building to the public all year round in the near future.
