Odsey House An important early 18th century house built for the Dukes of Devonshire. As originally the house appears to have been an intellectual essay based on cubes and squares, over time that clarity was distorted by alterations and additions. In refurbishing the house the intellectual qualities has been regained but without compromising the subsequent history of the house or its comfort as a home. The work includes a new Doric family room.
