RSA were commissioned as Master planners and project architects for 3 no. buildings on the site which, in addition to the Veterinary project, include a new Gunroom retail shop and Owens coffee headquarters which are nearing completion. Following a successful planning application in late 2015, RSA have worked up building regulations and technical tender drawings for a new-build £1,000,000 Veterinary practice for South Moor vets, located on the outskirts of Ivybridge off the A38 at Endsleigh Park The building is conceived as a modern farm barn building and is steel framed with efficient use of metal cladding and roofing with areas of natural timber cladding. The 2 – storey accommodation includes double height reception, administration areas, consultancy tooms, large and small animal spaces, Operation Theatres, Dental / x-ray room and supporting spaces. The landscaping includes entrance court, parking, external plant and bin store area. In addition to the full RIBA Scope of works, our additional duties have included obtaining Variation of Planning consent to assist our client in constructing a more cost-effective building.
