Located at the centre of Ibadan's Central Buisness District, Aje House - once the third tallest building in Nigeria and an architectural icon - has gradually fallen into a state of disrepair and disuse. As part of an international design competion, Place-Make were invited to prepare a visioning strategy for the renewal of Aje House and the redevelopment of the neighbouring parcel to provide a hub for business activities with a mix of supporting activities. Following the initial competion, we were selected to prepare the site master plan for planning permission.
