Soon after moving in, the leaseholders of a block of 10 luxury flats in Kent found the walls were damp and the roofs leaked. We acted as Clerk of Works, under the direction of John Potter Architect, to inspect the remedial works. The cavity walls were dismantled back to the inner leaf, the inner leaf repointed, and the walls reassembled with new materials. The existing single ply flat roofing was removed, and replaced with a new insulated timber structure supporting lead sheet roofing.
