About the practice

Nenmar is an award-winning multidisciplinary design-led practice, co-directed by Gianluca Nencini and Elena Maresca focusing in unique and bespoke projects. At Nenmar we endeavour to convey people's individual stories, we specialise in delivering meaningful architecture and design, pursuing unique and exacting details. Our inherent belief that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication is realised through insightful and holistic solutions that aim to make a positive difference each time, and by possessing a quality of understated elegance. We appreciate every space and understand its potential. We have a passion for problem solving and will always address and respect constraints to resolve them into a cohesive answer that creates a synergy of uncluttered calm in which to find refuge. Nenmar works on a variety of projects of different size and scope. We have an international attitude. We are based in London but work all over the world.
