Lightness and clarity guide the re-planning of this generous Edwardian apartment in central London. A muted, cohesive palette runs through the open-plan rooms, tying together the refined built-in elements. A linear arrangement of bookshelves — designed for an extensive art-literature collection — creates a subtle axis that draws the eye toward the study. The kitchen is conceived as a bright, social space, anchored by a marble and stainless-steel island that acts as the central gathering point for an extended family.
