One Bishopsgate Plaza is a mixed-use 43 storey tower in the heart of the City of London comprising a 237 room, 5* luxury hotel, and 160 apartments or ‘Sky Residences’. MSMR’s design for the 160 apartments at ONE BP has drawn inspiration from the geometry, patterns and shapes of the PLP-designed tower as well as the spectacular views from across the city. The sequence and proportion of spaces has been thoroughly considered and the selection of materials and finishes provide an elegant design response, appropriate to the context of the City and the way people live their lives. MSMR is also appointed as delivery architects for Yabu Pushelberg’s interior concept for the hotel. MSMR have collaborated with both Yabu Pushelberg and PLP throughout the project to deliver an integrated and seamless design at every level of building.
