This former office block on the A4 is being converted into stylish, compact apartments for the newly launched Apt Living Gunnersbury Park. The scheme delivers 213 apartments over four floors, common parts and amenity spaces that bring light and space into the building, framing the outlook to the adjacent Gunnersbury Park. Appointed for space planning and interior concept design, MSMR also designed and delivered the marketing suite (pictured) which features a typical one and two bed layout. The design incorporates ceiling heights that average three metres to create generous volumes, combined with an affordable, design-led approach and a palette of contemporary materials. A sequence of defined spaces maximise living accommodation. From the apartment entrance, a seamless wall of custom-built joinery runs the length of the apartments, providing a neat hideaway for essential utilities, study, kitchen and seating and whose lines lead the eye to the park views beyond.
