Alteration to existing property, Within a Conservation Area
We received unanimous approval at planning committee to adapt and restore a collection of industrial buildings. Located on the old tramline route on Kingsland Road Hackney. The project is centred around a sensitive, low carbon adaption of the late 1920’s vehicle service garage to create high quality workspaces for local, small, and midsize enterprises. The proposals also include the retrovision of flexible worship and community space in a purpose-built engineered timber building to the north, to the south a refurbished entrance way provides access service and ancillary spaces, with an infill ‘gate house’
