Set within the historic landscape of Ouseburn Park this HLF funded project incorporates architectural works ranging from assessing listed structures through to creating a new visitor and conference centre to provide exhibition, café and education facilities. Other new structures in the landscape include a new cor-ten steel footbridge, and an education pavilion. Working within the existing boundary wall of Millfield House, we have designed a contemporary scheme that works well with the limitations of the site. Sustainable energy options were incorporated from the outset and the scheme comprises rain water harvesting and a sedum roof.
