Our own two-storey house and ground floor office is built on a challenging brownfield site in the Upper Ouseburn Valley, close to Newcastle City Centre. The two-storey building is built into the steep valley side and utilises the excavated earth to insulate the embedded walls as well as cover the intensively planted roof-scape. The garden is irrigated using recycled grey water.
