Complete remodel of a garden on a steep hill slope. The existing Garden had 15 steps up to a patio and lawn. The design created a series of platforms which led the user gently up the hill to a lawn area. The stairs were broken down into a series of steps so there were no more than 6 in one flight which was safer for the families young children. Each platform has a seating area creating sociable space on the journey up the hill.
