Working in close partnership with our client, we’re reimagining repurposed shipping containers into a modern, sustainable holiday let. Starting with a thorough feasibility study, we’ve developed a design that uses natural materials both inside and out, helping the structure blend seamlessly with its beautiful rural surroundings. Re-using shipping containers can be an effective way to create a holiday let, it contains the novelty of a space generated from shipping containers, which attracts guests. This eco-friendly project is positioned to support our green architecture ambitions, with careful attention paid to energy analysis, solar studies, and daylight optimisation to keep long-term running costs low. We've conducted a thorough energy analysis, including solar studies and LUX evaluations, to reduce operational costs over the long term.
