Currently, a work in progress: For all the hype around AI image generation, there’s still no substitute for a good elevation drawing. It’s where a project’s proportions, scale, and materiality are truly resolved. This design — a compact holiday let on the outskirts of South Birmingham — explores the use of terracotta in multiple forms: from handmade clay roof tiles to vertical tile cladding. The aim is to create a warm, crafted exterior that blends naturally with its suburban setting. Drawn by hand, detailed with care. More to follow.
