Design of 120 new homes including the conversion of a terrace of listed buildings by Decimus Burton, the formation of a new garden square, a multi storey car park and towers, on a sloping site overlooking the English Channel in St Leonards on Sea, Sussex. This is the largest development since the time of the Burtons and was the focus of a previous, highly contested planning application. MBA took the project on and through careful public and community consultation, achieved local support for an improved and revised scheme, currently under construction. The first houses were occupied in 2020.
