Warrington

£10m to £49.99M
This linear 1.75 hectare site in Latchford is approximately 2 miles from Warrington Town Centre. It was the home of Beers Timber Yard. The former brownfield site has been redeveloped to accommodate 3 new 4 storey apartment buildings. Each building originally contained 63 apartments. Planning consent has recently been granted to add a 5th floor with 9 additional apartments, onto one of the apartment blocks. 223 car spaces are also provided. A key design feature within each block is the utilisation of a duplex apartment design. Each duplex apartment is designed on 2 storeys. These apartments are accessed from the lower level on the north side of central corridor. The upper level of each apartment extends across the entire width of the building enabling a dual aspect. The Lounge area of each duplex is on the south side of the building. The remaining single level apartments are located along the south side of corridor opposite the lower level of the duplex. This means that the majority of apartments all have lounges which face south with great views across the canal. Between the apartment blocks is generous areas of landscaping including a play area, and some bike stores. There is direct access from the site onto the Trans Pennine Route (walking and cycle path) which runs alongside the canal. The car parking and bin stores are arranged alongside the north side of the accommodation running parallel with Station Road. The embankment between Station Road and the parking is well planted and provides screening from the road. The first 2 buildings are now occupied and the final block will be completed later in 2022.
