St Peter’s Hospice has provided excellent care for patients and their families since 1978,The existing St Peter’s Hospice building on the site was constructed in 1997 and provides a range of services to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses who live in Bristol and the surrounding area. The new extension and refurbishment project consists of a new 15 bed In Patient Unit with individual ensuites and family over night stay facilities within each bedroom. The new wing also consists of a therapy Spa, a new ambulance entrance, landscaped gardens, a new cafe, break out spaces, and sanctuary room for relaxation and reflection. This project was shortlisted for the AJ Architectural Awards 2019.
