The Royal Porcelain Works is a mixed use development on the site of the old Royal Worcester Porcelain factory. The client, the Bransford Trust, bought the site after it became redundant and is now developing it as a new arts venue for the city, to be run by Worcester Live, as well as constructing ten new residences. The arts venue is to be located in the only listed building on the site, which is to be refurbished and extended to provide a bar, cafe and ancillary accommodation. In addition, a new public space, intended for markets, performances and external seating will be constructed. The residences comprise seven townhouses incorporating the retained Severn Street facade, as well as three new apartments. Granted planning permission in early 2016, the project was completed in 2019.
